About Us

Antibiotic-resistant bacteria are considered today to be the greatest threat to human health world-wide. The World Health Organization (WHO) warns that by 2050 antibiotic-resistant bacteria will kill 50 million people/year.

Our group is committed to advance our understanding of bacterial antibiotic resistance  and bacterial virulence, and provide the knowledge that will lead to novel treatments. Our research is highly interdisciplinary, and utilizes tools from from the fields of biology, biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry, physics, computer science and engineering.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team.
Our team is highly interdisciplinary with people coming from the fields of biology, biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry, physics, computer science and engineering.

Open Positions at the level of M.Sc., Ph.D., or Post-Doc are available for projects in computational biology, antibiotic resistance, bacterial virulence, and molecular machines.
